You are right, high quality video at full screen shows that Dances with Coyotes is needed barefoot, my bad.

Sam there are some shadows that make it hard to tell, but if you enlarge to full screen and pause you can see that he doesn't.  The real desert dogs have come plenty interesting and fun videos worth checking out.

After their failed hike to Beveridge City, an abandoned mining camp nestled in the Inyo Mountains, the Desert Dogs had to race to the bottom of the mountain to escape an incoming thunderstorm. The beaten and battered Desert Dogs take refuge at Saline Hot Springs, only to find themselves surrounded by friendly coyotes, a donkey show, and a few naked folks.

After the storm cleared, they explored the parts of Saline Valley that they would have otherwise missed had it not been for their forced retreat; the sand dunes and the salt marsh.
