Glad to see they came out to pump them!  We left on the 15th and the toilet at Palm Springs was almost up to the bottom of the seat! [eek]

Yesterday 4/15/19 (tax day) the pumper truck showed up.
The springs should be good to go for awhile!

With the huge influx of visitors over the next few weeks I wonder if this has been addressed?

The park service has been notified of the need for the need to pump the toilets especially at palm springs. The toilets at the lower springs are not full. (as an option)

The plunger is supposed to be outhouse art. I hope someone doesn't actually use it to smash the pile.

OK, so... we were wondering - what exactly is the plunger on the long stick for in the Palm Springs crapper? Only thing I could guess is to push things off to the side if the central cone gets too high. But man, I would not want to be the guy to clean THAT!

For those who recently camped at the upper springs you know the outhouse there was in very serious need of pumping. The scoop on the poop is the pump truck is coming tomorrow to service the toilets!
