Thanks BigDaddy,

Forgot to mention my truck is a crew cab short bed which has a long wheelbase.  Any trouble doing Lippincott with this vehicle.
Will check the forum on the South/North pass conditions.

Roads will be good, North Pass is often closed during the winter month.  You will need to watch the forum to understand if the South Pass is closed because of snow.  Going down Lippincott Road with your vehicles will be OK, just be careful.  Going up it might be a challenge, but very doable.

Planning a trip to Saline Valley with a stock Silverado 4x4 and Subaru Crosstrek (AWD).  Generally speaking what is the typically road conditions thru North/South pass and Hunter Mountain Road (in case we come from the Racetrack) in February?  Is Lippincott Road even an option with our vehicles?

I know last year the roads had a lot of snow but it was a wet year for SoCal (though not sure how much rain DV got).

Thanks in advance for any information.
