Just got back from the Chicken Strip.  I fly a 1962 172-C.  This was my 1st time into Saline by air.

The runway is in very good condition.  No ruts or washboards.  There are some bouncy rollers though so you need to pay attention until you are stopped or off the ground.  Will be back for Thanksgiving.

Besides landing/takeoff I also walked the entire runway and saw nothing to cause concern.  There are 3 tiedown spots only.  If you fly in for a major weekend you should bring your own tiedowns.
