A few years ago there was deep snow all the way up on Lee Flat. Don't think many vehicles made it in south pass that year during that time. My buddy's 4x4 didn't get far.

Thank you for the info. I saw a post from a few year ago and was curious.

We all have high clearance 4WD, but will Ben careful.

Cheers.

Due to low temperatures it is usually somewhat empty. The big crowd times are around Thanksgiving and Memorial Day.
Be mindful of any storms that may happen before your trip as they can affect both north and south passes.

I'll be arriving with a medium sized group and a few first timers on the 30th. All of my previous trips have been in November, so interested to see who else will be in attendance?

Is there typically a lot of activity over New Year?

Very much looking forward to meeting anyone else who might be there!
