Welcome to the forum  cordillera, now take a moment and look around. You can always add to an existing thread asking for an update if there hasn't been one in a while rather than starting a new thread.
Just saying....

Mother Nature isn't done with us yet, She will closing the North Pass this year with her three feet of snow. As for the South Pass there will be show drifts of five feet or better. She is really going to put us through the trails. I might have to get smaller tars some me chain'll fit.

[confused] You mean that this:

http://forum.salinepreservation.org/post/south-pass-november-3rd-2013-6604636

and this:

http://forum.salinepreservation.org/post/north-pass-sept-13-2013-6528650?&trail=45

and several others aren't enough?  All your questions are answered in other threads.  All you have to do is read 'em.
