Yep!  That's what I've heard, too.  Too bad!  I usually wait for a late summer thunderstorm to make it "fun" again.  Otherwise, what's the point?

Based on picture, much worse than the last time I traveled over that trail in 2008. Is this view is the photographer looking at the Toyota from the Ballarat end 
or Mengle pass end?
