The strip and parking area is in very good conditions. There is a wind sock, but I am not sure if its a standard one - but its there.

Remember when parking, do not blast airplanes sitting there with your prop. It happened several times this weekend and its not cool. Shut down, get out and unload your plane and move by hand if you need to. Its not usually necessary to do a run up on a soft strip and your prop will pick up the volcanic rock that covers the strip and parking area. I just release the brakes and the plane begins rolling and add power slowly as speed picks up.

Gas at lone pine is 3.74 and the credit card machine is working.
