Burro roundup started week of October 15. I was at the springs the following weekend, Oct 20. Only 3 of the same burros the whole weekend. Last spring when I visited there were at least 10 with the usual camp destruction of anything left out when you left your camp.

That is ripe, Sam! I immediately thought you were referring to relocation of the Timbisha Shoshone back to the valley....In 2019. Anything can happen~

I was at the springs about 1 month ago. A group of catchers,for the lack of proper word, came to the springs. They mentioned mid 2019 as the start time for the relocation of the SV donkey tribe.
